How estimate your bra size

Individual Brand sizing charts can be found at the bottom of each product page description tab. The following information is a generic guide to bra fitting only.

Estimating the correct size for a bra is not straight forward and is certainly more challenging than buying a well-fitting shoe. Using the tape measure method works reasonably well for the smaller breasted woman up to size 14 with a D cup. However, all woman are individuals and seldom is anyone symmetrical. Bra fit also varies with Brand, Style and Colour of the garment. The tape measure can be easily used at home and should be considered a guide only.

How to measure – wear an unpadded bra and stand with a relaxed upper body. A big mirror is helpful, so you can check the position of the tape on your back.

1/ To measure the under-bust, place the tape measure around your body underneath the bust and hold tightly. After breathing out, note the centimetre measurement. This number corresponds to the band size eg. 80cm is size 14.

2/ To measure the cup size, keep the tape measure in the same place at the back and move the front up to rest over the fullest part of the bust. Hold more loosely. Note the measurement. Using the second chart, find the band size in the far-left column and then move across until you find the second measurement which corresponds to the cup size eg. 99cm would be size 14D.
